Donate today
1 in 10 people in East Sussex is an unpaid Carer, dedicating every day helping a loved one who couldn’t manage without them. With your support we can ensure more of these Carers receive what they need to cope with the challenges of caring.
Your donation helps provide unpaid Carers with regular breaks from caring, peer support, practical advice and wellbeing services that improve their quality of life and help them continue their caring role with confidence.
I would like to give monthly
Your monthly donation provides reliable, ongoing funding that helps us plan ahead and ensure Carers can access support whenever they need it.
I would like to give one-off
Your one-off donation makes an immediate difference, helping us respond to current needs and invest further in services that improve Carers’ lives.
You can give to help more Carers like Carol
“I close the front door knowing my husband is in great care until I get home. It has made a huge difference to my own health.” — Carol, wife and carer to Brendan.
After sixty-one years of marriage, caring for Brendan has become both a privilege and a daily challenge. His memory is now so short that some days he believes she is his sister, not his wife. She carries the weight of every appointment, every question repeated, every moment he needs help. She is his constant—day and night. But even the most devoted people need a break.
She remembers the first time she had a respite break thanks to Association of Carers. “I can’t say how much I appreciate having a few hours just for me,” she says. “I close the front door knowing my husband is in great care until I get home. It has made a huge difference to my own health.”
Join the Circle of Care
Every day, unpaid Carers give their time, energy and love to support someone important to them. But even the most devoted Carer needs time to rest.
By giving today, you can help us to offer a future Carer time to rest, recover and reconnect. Every ÂŁ12 you give could provide a Carer with an hours respite each month.
Your gift gives us the flexibility to direct funds where they are needed most, such as helping us find Volunteers, or reach more unpaid Carers who need our support, and respond to the needs of our Carers.
