Computer Help at Home

Computer Help At Home is a service where a volunteer teaches a Carer how to use the Carers own computer in their own home in ways that will support them in their caring role.
Carers are offered 6 one-to-one sessions, where a trained and fully vetted volunteer teaches them how to use their own computer, tablet, or smart phone. They may want to use the newly-learned skills to keep in touch with family members and friends, do shopping or banking online, order repeat prescriptions, or similar. Equipping them with these basic computing skills enables them to have more time to themselves and helps reduce isolation.
