Roffey Park Carers’ Weekend Break

Roffey Park are offering carers a free weekend of relaxation and fun activities. Carers can join in or just chill out and use the excellent facilities and grounds. The weekend break includes all meals, activities and overnight accommodation and is fully funded by East Sussex County Council (ESCC).

If the person you care for needs support so you can attend this, it will need to be arranged through the council’s usual needs assessment process and subject to the council’s normal charging policy for support arranged by Adult Social Care.

Who is it for?

The carers’ weekend break is for people providing unpaid support to someone living in East Sussex.

To qualify for the break, carers must:

  • be aged 18+
  • be caring for an adult aged 18+ living in East Sussex

Priority will be given to carers who have not previously attended the Roffey Park carers’ weekend break.

How to book a place

Download and complete the application form on the ESCC website and return it via email to chris.hoare@eastsussex.gov.uk

Please note that the deadline for applications is Friday 7 September 2018 and ESCC will contact you to tell you if you will be offered a place on the break by Friday 14 September 2018.
