Happy 2025! We are kicking off the year with 2 new services in the Eastbourne area to support Carers and their loved ones.
Carers Dance Café- Polegate, Eastbourne
We are starting our Carers’ Dance Cafe, made possible by funding from Wealden District Council.
Carers and their loved ones can come along every month to enjoy moving to music, within their own range and ability; seated,
standing, traveling or on the spot. There will be something for everybody.
Led by fully qualified, experienced dance teacher Claire Tabraham, founder of Eastbourne Dance Space, a dance studio for adults of all ages and abilities. Claire is trained in dance for Parkinson’s, but the sessions will welcome people with a range of capabilities and health conditions.
We’d love to welcome you from Monday 6th January 10:30am-12:30pm, and every first Monday of the month thereafter. The session will be held at Polegate Community Association, 54 Windsor Way, Polegate, BN26 6QF.

Carers Lunch Club- Stone Cross, Eastbourne
We are starting a new Carers Lunch Club at the Red Lion in Stone Cross.
The Lunch Club gives Carers and the people they care for the opportunity to enjoy a meal in a relaxed and informal setting.
The lunch is attended by a staff member from Association of Carers, who can keep you up to date with any local events and questions.
The Red Lion are also offering a special menu for our club- 2 courses for £12.50! Pre order preferred.
Join us on Wednesday 8th January at 12:30pm for our first Lunch, and every 1st Wednesday thereafter at the Red Lion, Lion Hill, Stone Cross, BN24 5EG.
