Become a Trustee

Cliff-Paul-Barbara-respiteThe Association of Carers are looking for new trustees who already have experience of being a trustee, have experience of chairing a group and also a good understanding of what it is like to care for someone.

Meetings currently take place at our offices in Hastings Town Centre once a month on a Thursday afternoon and travel expenses are reimbursed.

Chairperson and Carer, Jennifer Allen said: “People often become trustees to ‘give something back’, but there is a two-way benefit; charities benefit from the range of skills and experience that their trustees bring, but trustees can learn and develop new skills that may open up new opportunities for them, as well as meeting people who share their passion.”

If you’re looking for the chance to ‘give something back’ and the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, please contact us on 01424 722309 or email
